PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in an optical disc library device for handling a plurality of optical discs stored in a magazine, that trouble such as a fault or abnormal stoppage cannot be recovered when such trouble occurs in a case where optical discs and optical disc drives are handled in units of a single disc and a single drive.SOLUTION: An optical disc library device according to the present disclosure comprises: one or more magazines for storing a plurality of optical discs; a plurality of optical disc drives for recording and playing an optical disc; a changer mechanism for holding the magazine and loading/unloading a discretionary optical disc stored in the magazine into or from a discretionary optical disc drive; and a control unit for controlling the changer mechanism. The magazine includes magazine-disc associating information that associates magazine information for specifying a magazine with disc information for specifying a plurality of optical discs stored in the magazine, and the control unit outputs the magazine-disc associating information included in the magazine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
