The present invention relates to a precast embedment type composite column segment including a connection unit and a connection method for a precast embedment type composite column segment using the same. According to the present invention, the precast embedment type composite column segment (1) includes: a column main body (100); and the connection unit (200) for connecting the column main body (100) to the adjacent other column main body. The column main body (100) includes: an outer column (110) prefabricated in a precast method; an inner column formed in a hollow (120) formed in the outer column (110) by being filled with concrete in a case-in-place method; and a steel material (400) installed in the column main body (100) by being extended in the longitudinal direction of the column main body (100). One end (141) of the steel material (140) protrudes to the outside of the column main body (100), and the other end (142) of the steel material (140) does not protrude to the outside of the column main body (100). The connection unit (200) includes: a first connection unit (210) connected to the one end (141); and a second connection unit (220) connected to the other end (142). According to the present invention, the precast embedment type composite column segment can guarantee excellent constructability and uniform quality to connect each segment of a large unit composite column.
