PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a random number generator device having a random number generator circuit with sampling efficiency.SOLUTION: A random number generator device 1 includes; an oscillator circuit 2 configured to generate an output comprising alternate repetition of binary "0" and "1"; a selector 7 configured to generate and output an output S3 having a bus width of N bits (N is an integer 1 or greater), each bit repetitively and alternately taking a value of binary "0" and "1", based on the output of the oscillator circuit 2; and a sampling circuit 3 that samples the output S3 of the selector 7 using a preset sampling clock to generate random numbers S4, where the selector 7 variably sets an effective bus width of the output S3 of the selector 7 based on an externally entered selection signal S6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
