PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive both hexagonal and circular drive shafts so as to reduce the required number of driving bodies by providing an adapter capable of the drive shaft being adapted so as to drive a hexagonal socket or a circular socket of a rotating work tool such as auger. SOLUTION: A hydraulic motor drive unit 10 is attached to the proper arm 11 of the backhoe of a skid steer loader, and excavator, or the like, and it is provided with a connoting mechanism 12 controlling rotational movement of a attaching bracket 14 centering around a pivot pin 16. The drive shaft 20 of the drive unit 10 is formed into a hexagon, and hence it can be directly fitted to a hexagonal socket 34 formed on the drive collar 32 of an auger provided with an auger flight 28 on a pipe 20. Further under the condition of fitting an adapter sleeve formed with a hexagonal hole with the drive shaft 20, the cylindrical socket of the drive collar of another auger can be fitted to it. |
