PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically read and display data by throwing automatically power supply only by inserting an IC card with no interface with which a user performs an input operation. SOLUTION: The information indicator is in the form of a key holder of a pocket size and does not have an operating means such as keys and a switch. The external form of the information indicator is in the form of a flat plane of almost rectangle, and its size is smaller than an IC card. As for its function, the indicator automatically reads data and shows it just by inserting an IC card. The indicator has an insertion slot for the IC card. The IC card is supposed to be inserted with its contact directed to the insertion slot. When the IC card is inserted, power supply is automatically thrown and power is supplied to each part. A liquid crystal panel is embedded on the surface of the information indicator. Data read from the IC card is shown on the display panel. |
