PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that allows a recording medium to be easily removed, and an opening/closing device allowing an object discharged to be easily removed.SOLUTION: The image forming device 10 includes: a discharge part 600 for discharging paper; a document reading device 300 having space S from the discharge part 600; a hinge 400 for mounting the document reading device 300 on a body 30 of the image forming device so as to rotate around a rotation axis 410 to allow the document reading device 300 to move between a first position supported by a top face 34 of the body 30 of the image forming device and a second position that expands the space S; and an arm member 502 supporting the document reading device 300. The body 30 of the image forming device includes a notch 50 continued to the space S and formed between a front face 38 and a right-side face 40. The arm member 502 has one end 506 located farther from the front face 38 than the other end 504. |
