PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery module that can surely generate desired water vapor and efficiently perform a reforming reaction with a simple and economical construction.SOLUTION: A fuel battery module 10 comprises a fuel battery stack 16, a reformer 18, an evaporator 24 and an exhaust gas combustor 22. The fuel battery module 10 is provided with a combustion exhaust gas passage 30f through which combustion exhaust gas occurring in the exhaust gas combustor 22 flows. In the combustion exhaust gas passage 30f are disposed exhaust catalyst 36 and an exhaust catalyst temperature increasing unit 34 for increasing the temperature of the combustion exhaust gas so that the temperature of the exhaust catalyst 36 is increased to an active temperature as occasion demands. The evaporator 24 is located at the downstream side of the exhaust catalyst 36 with respect to the combustion exhaust gas flow direction in the combustion exhaust gas passage 30f.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
