PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a stabilized high quality color offset printing in which a print trouble, e.g. a spot or a streak, is eliminated from the print surface. SOLUTION: The ink feeder for offset printer comprises an ink source roller 5 to be fed with ink from an ink fountain 4, a doctor blade 7 provided for the ink source roller 5 in order to limit the quantity of ink being fed to the ink source roller 5, a roller 8 being delivered with ink from the ink source roller 5 and rotary driven at a circumferential speed different from that of the ink source roller 5, and a roller for feeding the delivered ink from the ink delivery roller 8 toward a plate cylinder 1. The ink delivery roller 8 is provided with means 14 for making smooth the irregular ink coating on the surface thereof. |
