PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of money receiving/paying work and countermeasures for crime prevention by allowing a door detection switch part to distinguishably detect a state of opening a door of an automatic teller machine(ATM) by a key and a state of opening the ATM by a means other than the key, and at the time of detecting the open of the door by the key in money receiving/paying operation, stopping the money receiving/paying operation. SOLUTION: In the automatic money receiving/paying device built in the ATM capable of receiving/paying out cash by customer's transaction operation, a front door open/close detection switch part 16 distinguishably detects a state opening the door of the ATM by a key or a state opening the ATM by a means other than the key in money receiving/paying operation. At the time of detecting the open of the door of the ATM by the key in the money receiving/paying operation, a control part 17 stops the money receiving/paying operation, carries a bill press part 14 up to a position above a carrier 7 to fix it and then closes a temporary holding part 13. If a person other than a maintenance man, a clark and a cash manager opens the front door without using a key, the control part 17 informs a guard host 18. |
