In a thermally operable flasher unit in which a movable contact is carried on a currentheated thermally extensible strip 27, Fig. 1, stretched across a snap-acting vane 18 for engagement with the fixed contact 13, the vane 18 is mounted on a finger 21 formed integrally by cutting a U-shaped slot 19. The vane 18 is rendered snap-acting by an embossed rib 22 aligned with the finger 21 and arranged so that the limbs 18a, 18b are urged together and twisted. |
