[Also in Division B8] Colour transfer papers are made by coating onto paper sheets or incorporating into the sheets, microcapsules consisting of a cellulose wall comprising a pigment enclosing core material comprising a dye or dye precursor (see Division B8). Specific examples relate to coating paper with microcapsules as described above in which the pigment is ZnS or TiO 2 and the dye or dye precursor is 3-methyl spirodinaphthopyran above or with N-benzoylleucomethylene blue and to incorporating similar microcapsules into paper pulp from which sheets of paper are then made. |
