<p>Sb and/or Bi are removed from waste aq. acid solns., which contain other metal or metal salts, by extracting with an acid phosphoric acid ester of an alcohol and/or substd. alcohol contg. >=5C. The acid phosphoric acid ester is then freed from Sb and/or Bi and recycled for treating the waste acid solns. Sb and/or Bi can be extracted from the ester by treating with aq. sulphuric acid at a concn. of >=50 g/1, or with a soln. contg. a complex-forming agent and sulphuric acid. Used for the extraction of Sb and/or Bi from waste electrolytic solns. formed in the refining and winning of non-ferrous metals such as Cu by electrolysis.</p> |
