<p>The elastic strips supporting the mattress are made of laminated wood to ensure cheapness, and the enchanced ventilation when using foam mattresses is achieved with grooves. This eliminates fungi propagation due to sweat condensation. The top surface of the strips is divided into grooves which can be arranged in longitudinal, transverse or both directions. The line of the groove can be set at an angle to the strip axis, while their shape can also vary. The grooves may be semicircular or V-shaped. Air holes may pass through the strips, spaced along the grooves. The grooves may form a rectangular or diamond shaped grid.</p> |
