The device operates in real time, retrieving service and call data records from one part of the system and directing them to selected addresses in a second part of the system. Service data records (SDR`s) and/or call data records (CDR`s) are retrieved from a first set of sub-systems within a telecommunications system (preferably the telecommunications part of the network) and then delivered to a second set of sub-systems (preferably the telecommunication service part of the network) within the same system. The device operates in real time and includes a means for receiving the SDR`s and/or CDR`s, a means for storing network addresses for each sub-system in the second set, and a means for selectively directing SDR`s and/or CDR`s to one or more of the stored addresses. Independent claims are also included for (a) a telecommunications system containing a first set of sub-systems for sending SDR`s and a second set of sub-systems for receiving SDR`s, the SDR`s being sent selectively from the first set to the second by the above SDR distributor, and (b) the above real time SDR distribution process. |
