DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A guard (1) covering the front of the switches is joined to a cover part (2) running parallel to the top of the cooker. Attached to either side of the cover part are a pair of wings (3) with heels (4) protruding from them that slot into openings (7) in plates (5) mounted on opposite sides of the hob when the guard is lowered into position to protect the switches. The guard can be swung upwards to extend at right angles to its active position in order to provide access to the switches. |
