PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly reduce the distortion deforming amount of a guide, to eliminate the uneven contact of an article to be machined with a grinding tool and to highly accurately grind the article to be machined by extending the guide in a relative moving direction between the machined article and the grinding tool and supporting both sides of this guide by a support leg. SOLUTION: Both sides of a slide guide 10 are supported by a support leg 15. Thus, even if a slide table 60 and a machined article rotary head 40 are loaded on this slide guide 10 and slid, the slide guide 10 is prevented from being inclined, and the distortion deforming amount of the same is very small. Thus, a machined article 2 is prevented from being unevenly contacted with abrasive cloth 1 on a rotary table 30, and the machined article 2 is highly accurately ground. Also, even if the slide guide 10 is extended for enlarging a reciprocal moving range, the slide guide 10 is prevented from being inclined. |
