PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for producing a high-temp. superconductive material capable of being plastically deformed, worked freely into a specified shape and industrially mass-produced and its compact. SOLUTION: The powder materials consisting essentially of 10-50 mol.% amide or nitride of at least one kind selected from alkali metals, i.e., Li, Na and K, 10-60 mol.% cyanide of at least one kind selected from aluminum, copper, silver and gold, 5-50 mol.% at least one kind of pure metal selected from aluminum, copper, silver or gold and <=10 mol.% at least one kind of alakaline-earth metal selected from Be, Mg, Ca, Sr or Ba are mixed, and the mixture is compacted, heated at 693-1553 K and sintered to obtain the high-temp. superconducting material. The material is plastically deformable and capable of being freely Worked by forging, rolling, etc., and the material has 40-80 K crtical temp. and exhibits >=10,000 A/cm<2> current density. |
