PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner for preparing dry air in which the concentration of impurities such as hydrocarbon is reduced. SOLUTION: An air cleaner is provided with a compressor 11 for compressing raw material air, a heat exchanger 12 for preheating air before being introduced into a heater 13 by the heat exchange of air before being compressed and introduced into the heater 13 with high temperature air exhausted from a catalyst reactor 14 set on the downstream of the heater 13, the heater 13 for heating the air up to the temperature suitable for the reaction in the catalyst reactor 14 and the catalyst reactor 14 for reacting a very small amount of hydrocarbon, carbon monoxide and hydrogen contained in the air with oxygen in the air. Also the air cleaner is provided with a cooler 15 for cooling the air cooled by being exhausted from the catalyst reactor 14 and passed through the heat exchanger 12 further down to the normal temperature and an adsorption tower 18 for removing carbon dioxide and water in the cooled air. |
