A child carrier seat assembly comprises a seat carrier frame (10, 8) extending from the upper part of the inclined rear fork of the bicycle first straight backwards and then inclining downwards and forwards to the rear axle, furthermore a footrest support frame (9, 28) extending from the mentioned upper part of the inclined rear fork of the bicycle first somewhat backwards and then inclining downwards and backwards to the rear axle, and a combined back and arm support (1), which is pivotably mounted at the rear end of the horizontal part (10) of the seat carrier frame. All these three pieces are made of tubing, each in one single piece and without welds. The seat carrier frame (10, 8) carries footrests (11) which are adjustable but always to the rear of the inclined rear fork of the bicycle and therefore at a safe distance from the pedals of the bicycle, whereas the back and arm support (1) is partly provided with armrests partly has a special back (2). By using tubing in whole pieces the risk that welds break and so causes accidents is avoided. |
