PURPOSE:To increase the output of a tandem brake doubler device when it is functioned as an automatic brake device. CONSTITUTION:A bellows 37 is arranged within a constant pressure chamber (A) of a front chamber, and one end of the bellows 37 is connected to an end of the first constant pressure passage 23 provided to a valve body 6. The other end of the bellows 37 is communicated with a negative pressure source through the second negative pressure introducing pipe 38 and a solenoid valve 42 is provided thereto. The second constant pressure passage 25 which communicates the constant pressure chamber (A) of the front chamber with a constant pressure chamber (C) of a rear chamber is comprised of a through hole 3a of a center plate 3 and a pipe 43 which is fitted to the through hole. When the solenoid valve 42 is operated, the air can be introduced into a space (A'), leading to introduction of the air into both pressure transforming chambers (B), (D) through the first constant pressure passage 23 or the like. The output can be increased in comparison with that of a conventional device where the air can only be introduced into either of the pressure transforming chambers when functioned as an automatic brake. |
