The device consists of an enclosure formed by a vessel (1), and of a hermetic-closure lid fitted with a carrying handle, and of a basket (8) which can be fitted into the vessel and is intended to be immersed in a sterilising solution. The basket is fitted at its lower part with hinged handles (12, 13) fitted with notches intended to hook onto the edge of the vessel, so as to allow the basket to be suspended at different levels on the edge of the vessel. These levels, for example three, delimit three different volumes corresponding to the immersion of one, two and three layers respectively of feeding bottles (11). <IMAGE>
