<p>A bag (4) formed from a single sheet of flexible material having two ends (5, 6) and two edges (10, 11) folded parallel to the ends (5, 6) to provide front and back surfaces (15, 16) that are sealed together along the edges (10, 11) to provide a pocket (18). Each of the surfaces (15, 16) extends toward an opening into the pocket (18) through which articles for support may pass and from which articles may be removed. One of the surfaces (16) extends beyond the opening of the pocket (18) and is folded over the end (6) of the other surface (15). The end (5) of the folded over surface (16) is positioned directly below the end (6) of the other surface (15) outisde of the bag (4) and elastic members (19, 20) are held captive within the ends (5, 6) whereby stretching the bag (4) in the direction of the sealed edges (10, 11) and maintained the bag (4) in a stretched condition a plurality of closure seals are formed to close the pening to the bag (4). In addition, when the bag (4) is joined sealed edge (10) to sealed edge (11) and stretched around a form (14), the stretched ends (5, 6) of the bag (4) that form the opening to the bag (4) also support the bag (4) around the form (14).</p> |
