摘要 Spacing monitor for double-pile fabrics, especially on double carpet-weaving machines. <??>The aim of the invention is a monitoring device, by means of which differences in pile height are detected at an early stage and reliably. Further aims are, above all, a reduction in the consumption of material and an increase in work productivity. <??>The object of the invention is achieved in that feeler noses belonging to sensing lamellae are arranged near the fabric beating-up zone, in that these are in contact with a rearside of the pile fabric, in that elements are present between the sensing lamellae, and that a contact pin is mounted in the region of the sensing lamella. <??>The sensing lamella has a feeler nose, consisting of a sensing surface and sensing head, and a contact region. <??>An intermediate lamella is mounted in the plane of the sensing lamellae and elements determining the division of the sensing lamellae are arranged between these. The contact pin can be brought into different positions relative to the axis of the sensing lamellae. <??>The monitor device is advantageously located underneath the fabric table. <??>This is used on machines which produce double-pile fabrics, especially on double carpet-weaving machines.
