PURPOSE:To attain such operation as carrying of a tray, an ascent and a descent of a clamp, and a pickup feed by a single motor, by providing a movement transfer means which is connected to a driving part for moving between positions for transferring a driving force. CONSTITUTION:An optical disk reproducing device is provided with a disk carrying means for moving between a disk installing position and a disk reproducing position, a clamp means for pressing a disk against a turntable, and a pickup moving means. Such a reproducing device is provided with a driving part containing a motor 21, and also, provided with a movement transfer means for moving between the first transfer position for transferring a driving force to the disk carrying means and the clamp means, and the second transfer position for transferring a driving force to the pickup moving means. In such a state, when the disk carrying means is in a disk installing position, the movement transfer means moves to the first transfer position, and at the time of the disk completes carrying and pressed by a turntable, said means moves to the second transfer position, and the pickup device is made movable, therefore, each operation can be executed by a single motor 21.
