PURPOSE:To attain the correct display of the arithmetic results by deciding whether data are already displayed or not on the display line for arithmetic results and erasing the display data if confirmed to display the arithmetic results. CONSTITUTION:The arithmetic result is displayed at a display part after the correction of data is carried out by a screen editor function. In this case, it is decided whether data are already displayed or not on the display line for arithmetic results. If the data are displayed, these data are erased and the arithmetic result is displayed. Thus the overlap of display data is avoided for correct display of arithmetic results even in case the data longer than the arithmetic result is displayed at the position where the arithmetic results are displayed. Thus it is possible to eliminate the reading mistakes of arithmetic results.
