PURPOSE:To attain restart, and partial processing procedure of a compilation processing, by interrupting the compilation processing by a processing procedure unit in a compiler, and preserving a bit of compilation information at the interrupting time of the compilation processing in a compile information file. CONSTITUTION:A compilation control mechanism 1 is started up by a user, and decides the procedure of the compilation processing by a bit of compilation control information 5 receiving at a start-up time, and moves a control to each processing procedure in a compiler 3. A compile interruption accept processing mechanism 2 accepts the interruption request of the compilation processing from the user, and sets an interruption flag on a compilation information table 8. The compiler 3 is constituted of plural processing procedures (a), (b), (c),..., and each processing procedure performs a part of the compilation processing. A compilation information output processing mechanism 4 is called from the processing procedure in the compiler 3, and outputs a compilation information file 9 putting the compilation information output table 8 as an input.
