<p>4-Acyl resorcinol ethers of formula (I) and their salts, in which R1 is lower alkyl, R2 is 5-tetrazolyl and alk is hydroxy alkylene, for use as anti-allergy agents, are made by reaction of a cpd. of formula (II) with a cpd. of formula X7OR2, in which X7 is substd. carboxy, and rings A and B may be further substd. Reaction is carried out in an inert solvent in presence of a condensing agent and with cooling.</p> |
