<p>PURPOSE:To increase the deodorizing efficiency for preserving foods by making an adsorbent consisting of powder such as porous oles which are caused to hold pineapple enzyme and subjecting the adsorbent to carrying on sheet materials such as cotton or unwoven cloth and thereby form an adsorbing material. CONSTITUTION:An adsorbent or porous mineral or activated carbon powder or granules is caused to hold pineapple enzyme by which pineapple juice is added to said adsorbent and fermented. Next, the adsorbent holding pineapple enzyme is allowed to be suspended in water and porous sheets such as of paper, cotton cloth or unwoven cloth are impregnated with the above-mentioned suspension liquid and dried to cause the adsorbent to carry on the sheet material. In this way the subject adsorbing material is manufactured. This adsorbing material can be installed without any transformation or loss of utilized space by applying or spreading it at the bottom or wall surface of a franze storage box, a refrigerator or a food storage shelf.</p> |
