The invention relates to an electrical device (1), especially a car radio, requiring little technical expenditure in order to be produced. The electrical device (1) comprises a display device (5) and control elements (10). A transparent plate (20) is provided. The display device (5) is arranged in front of said plate. The plate (20) has a contact strip (25) with terminal contacts (30) for the display device. Contact areas (35,40) are arranged on the plate and contact occurs by means of the control elements (10).
