<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an image display with high uniformity by making the length of parallel parts of a data line and a gate line in a unit picture element longer than the shift quantity of the unit picture element. CONSTITUTION:In each picture element which is shifted by 1/2 pitch at every line, the part in which a data line 2 is set in parallel to a gate line 1 is set longer than 1/2 pitch, and a thin film transistor (TFT) is provided on that part, as well. Subsequently, an oriented film 8 is provided on the TFT substrate constituted in such a way, and on a glass substrate 12 on which an opposed electrode 11 consisting of a transparent conductive film is formed, and thereafter, they are allowed to face each other, and by enclosing a liquid crystal 5 between them, a display device is completed. In such a way, the TFT can be formed in a B part, as well in the figure, in which the TFT has not been formed up to the present, by which a satisfactory picture quality can be held.</p> |
