A post support or ground sleeve for anchoring posts, in particular for snow posts. The ground sleeve has a tube (1), a funnel-shaped cap (2) and a cover (3) with an opening (9). Fastening devices (7) for the flaps (4, 5) are situated on the cover (3). On the flap axes (6), there are springs (8) which press the flaps (4, 5) onto the opening (9) of the cover (3) and close it. When the posts are inserted, the flaps (4, 5) open and, when the posts are removed, the flaps close automatically in order to prevent soiling. |
