PURPOSE: To easily confirm the wetting of a color developing layer by making the color of a color developing reagent in the color developing layer visible when the color developing layer is wet with a sample liquid. CONSTITUTION: A sampling charging section 4 composed of a compound material layer 8 and a liquid transferring layer 9 and an evaluating section 6 composed of a color developing layer 11, a coating layer 7, and a retaining layer 12 are fixed to the surface of the bottom layer 2 of a test carrier 1. When a sample liquid containing, for example, an antigen AG is brought into contact with the layer 8, the antigen AG is bound with a soluble compound material AKE in the layer 8 and forms an AG-AKE complex (a). When the sample moves to the layer 9 thereafter, the excessive AKE is immobilized to the layer, because the AKE is bound with an antigen immobilized to the carrier 1, and only the complex (a) of the sample flows in the layer 7. When the complex (a) fills the layer and the layer 11 is wetted with the complex (a), the color of a color developing reagent in the layer 11 becomes visible. |
