PURPOSE:To securely detect the period of the periodic repetition part of the voice signal in a short time by finding a 1st peak in a certain range of a voice signal waveform and finding a 2nd peak in a zone exceeding a zone not to be detected which is determined is accordance with the level of the 1st peak. CONSTITUTION:The time t0 (sampling point) when a MAX point is generated within a specific range is detected and a start point scan for next peak detection is determined is accordance with a current level WP0 to detect a next peak point WP1. Then processing as to whether peak points below WP1-WP0=BW can be detected at points WP2 and WP3 is carried to confirm the periodicity. Consequently, whether there is the periodicity and its period can be known speedily and securely. |
