PURPOSE:To improve the extent of controllability including a small sharp turning property or the like by moving a piston with a hydraulic signal conformed to a car speed, setting a turning range up to a notch groove side edge of an engaging means at the output shaft side adjoining an inner part of the notch groove, to a variable play. CONSTITUTION:Pressure oil out of a pump 11 controlling a supply according to a car speed is fed to one side of two oil chambers 12a, 12b of a cylinder 12 constituting a rear-wheel steering displacement transfer control mechanism 14, while a play stroke, as far as an engaging means 23 at the side of an output shaft 21 comes into contact with the side edge of a groove 22, is changed by a position of the piston 13, whereby this piston 13 is moved by differential pressure in front and in the rear of a fixed restrictor 13a, setting the stroke regulated at the moving position down to play, and a front-wheel side input shaft 20 is transmitted to the side of the output shaft 21, thereby operating a control valve 15 via the rear-wheel steering displacement transfer mechanism 14, thus a power cylinder 3 is driven and rear-wheel steering takes place. Thus, improvement in controllability including a small sharp turning property or the like at time of low speed running of a vehicle is well promotable. |
