PURPOSE:To widen sensing areas and photograph the whole image by varying the sensing areas of respective detecting elements, which constitute a detection unit, to incident radiation according to the size of a body to be photographed. CONSTITUTION:When each detecting element 15 is rotated by an angle theta so as to vary aperture width, the detecting element 15 increases in element-to- element distance on a slide line at the time of the rotation, so the detecting elements are moved in parallel along the arcuate groove 22 of a support frame 21. Therefore, when theta = 30 deg. and d1 = 1mm, d2 = 1.15mm and when the total number of channels of the detector is 500, 1.15 X 500 = 757mm, so that the photographable area at the position of the detector is widened as compared with the initial state. Therefore, when a large body to be inspected is photographed, the sensing areas are widened and the whole image can be photographed.
