The cupping glass (2) is fitted with a suction pump (1) which has a non-return valve (10) mounted in its wall. This non-return valve (10) has a through opening which connects the interior (2) of the suction pump (1) with the atmosphere (12). The interior of the cupping glass (2) has a connector (3) with a small opening (4). The diameter of this opening (4) is smaller than the diameter of the opening in the non-return valve (10) which is mounted in the wall of the pump body.
