A ring-formed pressure electrode (9) around the spray orifices (6) is provided with multiple holes, (10) and is formed as a pipe. It is coupled via a control valve (14) to a fire-extinguisher source (13).$ The spray orifices, (6) which carry deflecting air, may also be coupled to the extinguisher source. A rotating bell (7) for disposing the paint may have the pressure electrode (9) offset behind it. Pref. the electrode, the bell and the housing for the orifices are at a high voltage.
