BACKUP CONTROLLER OF FUEL CELL GENERATING SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To enable stably operating a fuel cell by compensating a load current lacking in a higher level than specified with a current from a backup power source. CONSTITUTION:The preset voltage of an automatic voltage regulator 6 is made by far higher than the output voltage VB of a backup power source 3 and a fuel cell 1A is controlled at constant voltage with a DC/DC converter 2 based on the preset voltage. Therefore, in a normal operation, reverse voltage is applied to the output side of the backup power source 3 to stop it and the fuel cell 1A can supply DC power IL controlled at constant voltage by keeping the specified fuel consumption rate to an inverter load 4. Thereby the fuel cell 1A can be stably operated with the specified fuel consumption rate and generation efficiency kept.
