PURPOSE: To simultaneously form all dimples arranged in a circumference of a cylindrical wall of a counterbore by a simple positioning means. CONSTITUTION: At least two milling spindles 13 are arranged in a planetary shape against a control rod 51 on a deflection body 29. The deflection body 29 is connected to a centering piece 32 facing a counterbore 1 and an intermediate piece 33. The intermediate piece 33 is cylinder/piston connected to a gear housing 11. Each of the milling spindles is connected to an output shaft of the gear housing 11 through a flexible shaft 22 free to move in the axial direction. Relative motion against a housing of the intermediate piece 33 is generated until the centering piece 32 reaches a base surface of the counterbore 1. The control rod 51 moves each of the milling spindles in the radial direction in the deflection body 29.
