PURPOSE:To obtain a grain boundary oxidized voltage nonlinear resistant compsn. as the material of a voltage nonlinear resistor which hardly undergoes changes in the characteristics at high temp. and humidity with the lapse of time. CONSTITUTION:A base consisting of 98.0-99.9mol% (Sr1-x-yBaxCay)TiO3 (where x<=0.3 and y<=0.25) and 0.1-2.0mol% oxide of at least one among Nb, W, Ta, In and rare earth elements is prepd. At least one among Cub, PbO, Bi2O3, Sb2O3, V2O5 and MoO3, and NapBqOr (where p=2n, q=2n', r=n+3n' and each of (n) and (n') is 1 or 2) are incorporated into the base by 0.01-2.0mol% in total. |
