<p>PURPOSE:To effectively reduce mixture of slag in a ladle by dipping a stopper in molten steel through a slag layer at an upper part directly above a tap hole from an initial time of discharging the steel. CONSTITUTION:When a steel discharge start pushbutton is pressed, an electric furnace 1 is inclined, and molten steel in the furnace 1 is fed to a ladle 10. In this case, a stopper 5 is moved down to a level D in the steel through an upper surface level C of the stag. When the steel is discharged at the level D to become an end of the discharge, the stopper 5 is shifted from the level D to a level E so as to regulate a gap between a tap hole 3 and the end of the stopper 5. A signal for moving it becomes a throttling state of the steel to be given by a set molten steel weighed value in a load cell 11. If a clearance between the upper end of the hole 3 and a stopper head is excessively large in this state, the slag is easily discharged, while if it is excessively small, it takes a time to discharge the steel. The stopper 5 is shifted from a level F to the level E at the stage of completion of the discharge, the furnace 1 is simultaneously inclined to be reset to complete the steel discharging work.</p> |
