PURPOSE:To provide a thermosensitive both-sided recording medium which can record on front and rear both sides and a both-sided recording method which records thereon. CONSTITUTION:A both recording medium 10 is constructed by applying a first heat sensitizer 14 which blackens at a first temperature to one side surface of a substrate 12 formed in a street form and applying a second heat sensitizer 16 which blackens at a second temperature lower than the first temperature to the other side surface. For a heating method, when a heating element is heated in order to record on one side surface of the both-sided recording medium 10, the heating element is so heated as to reach the first temperature before temperature of the other side surface of the both-sided recording medium 10 reaches the second temperature. When the heating element is heated in order to record on the other side surface of the both side recording medium 10, the heating element is heated to the second temperature or higher to and lower than the first temperature. |
