PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery for storing electric power which is improved in such a manner as to suppress a self-discharge current. SOLUTION: Electrolyte circulating pipelines 21a, 21b are interposed between a battery cell 1 and electrolyte reservoir tanks 2, 3, respectively, to circulate an electrolyte therebetween. Gas supply means 20, 22a, 22b are connected inside the electrolyte circulating pipelines 21a, 21b to feed inert gas or nitrogen gas thereinto. |
