PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actually output desired data after conversion to an object output device of actual output by neither selecting a desired converting means nor converting data from an external device into bit map data for a certain time after the processor is powered ON. SOLUTION: After the power source is turned on, a core part 10 clears a counter value to 0 and monitors the wait time after the power-ON operation with this counter value. Then when data are received from a computer interface part 7, a choice of which of formatter parts (1) to (n) 8 the data should be transferred to is made with the received data on condition that the counter value is judged to have reached a certain wait time after the certain time, so that the data are transferred to the selected formatter part 8. Here, the certain time is longer than the start-up time of a converting means for bit map data usable by the slowest device in an operable state after the device power-ON operation. |
