PURPOSE: To cool a solar cell and improve the amount of power generation, by introducing cooling water into a cubic box arranged on the rear of a solar cell, and connecting a glass pipe with the surface of a panel. CONSTITUTION: A cassette main body is made of plastic. Color which absorbs heat is used, and cooling effect is aimed. An angular pipe made of glass is installed in not the whole part of a solar cell but a part of it. The glass pipe is used, as a solar heater, for increasing the water temperature, and is used for cooling the surface of the solar cell. Water in the cassette absorbs radiation heat from the rear of a solar cell panel and cools it. When the water temperature rises about 40 deg.C, a valve is opened by a servomechanism. Water is exchanged, and the temperature of the solar cell is kept lower than or equal to 40 deg.C. Thereby the power generation efficiency is improved, and warm water can be taken out. |
