PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send receipt information as an electronic mail, to easily automate inputting to a household account book software and to easily add an additional value to a receipt. SOLUTION: At a point of sales information management(POS) terminal, a mail address or a registration ID from a customer is read by a bar code reader 100 and it is transmitted to a merchandise management center. At this time, merchandise name, its unit price, and its quantity, and the subtotal, the excise tax and the total, etc., at the time of a payment processing, are transmitted to the merchandise management center. Also, at the time of a money receiving processing from the customer, received money and a change are transmitted to the merchandise management center. In the merchandise management center, additional information is added to the receipt information stored until then in the money receiving processing and it is converted to the electronic mail by pressing a receipt electronic mail making key 119 of the POS terminal for transmission to a mail host. The customer receives the receipt electronic mail at his/her convenient time, which is automatically stored in the household account book software of the customer according to a date, time and classification in the receipt electronic mail. |
