PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeve for die casting which can hold a mechanical precision of the sleeve, by preventing the lowering of temp. of molten metal and holding the low sleeve temp. SOLUTION: In a die casting machine using the sleeve for die casting, induction current is generated from a coil at the outer part to the molten metal 1 in the inner part to heat the molten metal 1. By this constitution, the mixture of impurities into the molten metal 1 and the oxidation of the molten metal can be reduced and the product quality can be stabilized. Further, since the sleeve for die casting is provided with an outer cylinder part 2 having plural slits at least in a part or the outer cylinder part 2 having plural electric conductors 4 at least in a part, the strength of the magnetic field in the outer cylinder part 2 with an electromagnetic induction is reduced, and then the temp. rise of the outer cylinder can be reduced. |
