PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to mount an air conditioner perfectly with a rear board without being in a floating state by forming removably a structural body which covers a joining area of a pipeline and enabling the joining area of a pipeline to be exposed to the lower part of a frame by removal of a structural body. SOLUTION: When a wall hanger air conditioner is set up on a wall surface, at first, a rear board 2 is fixed with a wall surface 1 while a frame 100, which houses heat exchangers 5 and 5A or the like, is fixed with the rear board 2. During this mounting work, a refrigerant pipeline is preliminarily introduced thereinto by way of the wall surface 1 from the outside. Then, a lower cover 107 of the frame 100 and a front cabinet 101 of the front surface are removed. Furthermore, a structural body, which forms integrally a discharge frame 109, which supports a drain pan 17 laid out on the lower part of a heat exchanger on the upper surface and supports a wind direction changing blade on the bottom and a base plate of a frame 100, is removed. This construction makes it possible to expose the joining areas of the pipelines 111, 113, 115, 117 and 119 and facilitate the joining work as well. |
