NEW MATERIAL:A plasminogen activator consisting of staphylokinase plasminogen (or plasmin) complex. USE:A fibrinolytic agent. PREPARATION:For example, a staphylokinase solution dissolved in an equimolar 0.1M sodium phosphate buffer (pH7.4) is added to a human plasminogen solution dissolved in the above-mentioned buffer and the mixed liquid is incubated at ambient temperature for 1 hr to form a staphylokinase-plasminogen complex and then unreacted staphylokinase is separated from the reaction mixed liquid by subjecting the reaction mixed liquid to gel filtration to provide the staphylokinase-plasminogen complex B. Furthermore, it is found that when fibrin dissolving performance of the complex B is compared with staphylokinase alone A, streptokinase alone C, streptokinase alone C and streptokinase- plasminogen complex, activity of the complex B is the highest. |
