The machine (3) has a brush (16) with a polishing surface (18) that is rotated round an axle (17) by an electric motor (15). The chassis (1) rolls on the ground and holds batteries (25) to supply the motor. The brush is joined to the chassis by a lever (3), articulated (5) on the chassis. The axle of the brush is inclined to raise part of the brush. The lever has two parts (19,20), joined by a plate (22), and the front part (20) holds a roller (10) on its end. The lever is raised by a gas strut (7), near the end of its back part (19).
